National Hydrogen Association Awards
Hydrogen Technologies Association will give ‘Nejat Veziroğlu Special Award’, ‘Technology Award’, ‘Young Researcher Award’ and ‘Student Researcher Award’. The selection committees formed for the awards consist of five people determined by the Board of Directors of the Hydrogen Technologies Association in coordination with the chairmen of the selection committee. New members are determined by the coordination of the association management instead of the members who cannot participate in the selection committee due to resignation, excuse or death.
Nejat Veziroğlu Special Award:
This award was created on behalf of Prof. Dr. Nejat Veziroğlu, who is an international leader in hydrogen energy, the father of hydrogen technologies, and the permanent honorary president of the Hydrogen Technologies Association. It is given to people who have proven themselves in the field of hydrogen energy and technologies both domestically and internationally and have made internationally recognized contributions.
Service Award of Hydrogen Technologies Association
This award is given to the people who have dedicated themselves to hydrogen energy and have served for at least 20 years in the development and application of this field, have contributed to the communal, social, technological, and economic development of the country in this field, have been a pioneer in the education and training of youth, have made institutional contributions and are active in industrial applications.
Technology Award
This award has been created for institutions that work effectively on hydrogen energy technologies and develop technologies. It is given to institutions that develop a product for the development of hydrogen technology, establish a pilot or industrial facility in the field of hydrogen energy and technologies, have patents in the field of hydrogen energy and technologies or support technology development.
Young Researcher Award
Bu ödül, 35 yaş altı (ödülün verileceği IHTEC 2027 konferans tarihi itibariyle 35 yaşından gün almamış olmak), en az yüksek lisans seviyesine sahip araştırmacılar için oluşturulmuştur. Bu ödüle adaylar önerilebilir veya adayların kendileri doğrudan başvurabilirler. Bu ödüle aday gösterilecek veya başvuracak adaylar, Hidrojen enerji teknolojileri konusunda ulusal ve uluslararası boyutta kabul gören başarılı çalışmalar yapmış olmalıdır. Özellikle; hidrojen teknolojilerine yönelik buluş, yeni bir uygulama veya özgün bir yöntem geliştirenler bu ödül için tercih sebebidir.
Student Researcher Award
Bu ödül lisans, yüksek lisans veya doktora öğrencilerine verilir. Bu ödüle aday gösterilecek veya kendileri başvuracak olan adayların hidrojen teknolojilerine yönelik buluş, yeni bir uygulama veya özgün bir yöntem geliştirmesi bu ödül için tercih sebebidir. Adayların ödülün verileceği IHTEC 2027 konferans tarihi itibariyle 30 yaşından gün almamış olması beklenir.
The winners of these awards will be invited to the conference where they will attend the award ceremony. Conference registration fee and accommodation expenses will be covered by the association.

Evaluation Process
The committees meet 1 month before the IHTEC conference. The award secretariat, appointed by the Association, attends the meetings to handle correspondence.
The award winners are announced 15 days before the IHTEC conference after the evaluation of the Selection Committee.
Members who cannot attend the selection committee meeting participate in the voting via telephone or Skype or send their votes in writing to the Chairman of the Selection Committee in advance. These votes do not change during the repetition of the voting.
